Who we are
Twilight Travel is a US-based independent travel advisory business operated by Sarah and Pete. We provide personal travel planning services and work with Fora, travel suppliers and specialist destination partners to research and arrange travel.

Information we collect
We collect information that you choose to give us when you submit an enquiry, join our newsletter or contact us directly. This may include:
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- Travel dates, destinations, departure point and number of travelers.
- Trip preferences, priorities, approximate budget and other details you include in your message.
- Your newsletter subscription status and communication preferences.
- Correspondence and information needed to provide the travel-planning service you request.
Please do not submit passport details, payment-card information or sensitive medical information through the website enquiry form. If those details are needed later, we will use appropriate travel-advisor or supplier systems.
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and discuss your travel plans.
- Research, recommend and arrange travel services you ask us to provide.
- Communicate about an existing or potential booking.
- Send travel inspiration and business updates when you have subscribed.
- Operate, protect and improve our website and services.
- Meet legal, accounting, security and record-keeping obligations.
Where applicable, we rely on your consent, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate business interests and legal obligations as the basis for using your information. You may withdraw newsletter consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email.
When information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share relevant information only when necessary with:
- Fora and the professional systems used to support our travel-advisor work.
- Hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, airlines, destination management companies and other travel partners involved in researching or arranging your trip.
- Netlify, which hosts this website and processes website enquiry submissions.
- Mailchimp, which manages our newsletter subscriptions and emails.
- Professional advisers, regulators or authorities when required by law or needed to protect legal rights and security.
Travel is international, so suppliers and partners may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Their own privacy policies and applicable laws may also govern their use of information.
Retention and security
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, provide travel services, maintain appropriate business records and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary depending on whether an enquiry becomes a booking and on supplier, accounting and legal requirements.
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use the secure systems we provide when sensitive booking information is required.
Website technology and third-party services
Our hosting provider may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, request logs and security events to deliver and protect the website. Our pages also load fonts from Google. Newsletter signups and related confirmation pages are handled by Mailchimp.
We do not currently use the website for behavioral advertising. If we add analytics or non-essential cookies later, we will update this policy and provide any choices required by applicable law.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information; object to or restrict certain uses; withdraw consent; or request a copy of information you supplied. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions.
To make a request, email sarah.cullen@fora.travel. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time through the link included in each message.
Children
Our website and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website. Adults arranging family travel may provide information relevant to the travelers in their party.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above will show when it was last revised.
